    2. 1.2  SYSTEM
      1. COMPONENTS:
        1. Standard SlateSpacer
        2. Edge SlateSpacer
      2. DESIGN REQUIREMENTS:
        1. Joint space: horizontally adjacent slates should be a minimum of 5/32" (3 mm) apart
    3. 1.3  SUBMITTAL - Submit manufacturer's Installation Guide.
    4. 1.4  QUALITY ASSURANCE - Installer to be experienced in the installation of roofing slate, having applied at least four complete slate roofs for not less than 4 years in the area of the project.
    5. 1.5  DELIVERY / STORAGE / HANDLING - Inspect material upon delivery and order replacements for any missing or defective items.
